We know you have talents beyond the “Mortar & Pestle”.

This is a great way that current members can become more involved in what is going on in ACAP behind the scenes. Below you can find descriptions of the committees. If you have any questions please feel free to speak to our of our officers at our membership meetings

ACAP COMMITTEES

Scholarship Members of the Scholarship Committee are responsible for the selection of any ACAP member who meets all available criteria for any available scholarship awards. These individuals are also responsible for reviewing the current scholarship, application process, and all matters associated with the scholarship,  such that it meets the current requirements of The Association’s and pharmacy profession.
Education Members of the Education Committee are responsible for obtaining exceptional speakers and required documents for the CE approval for membership meeting.  These individuals planning and organizing upcoming CEs for our monthly meetings, managing and directing speakers, and organizing acceptance by the Florida Board of Pharmacy and ACPE as necessary.
Budget & Financial Members of the Budget & Financial Committee are responsible for investment policy of The Association, preparation of an annual budget, development of reimbursement policies for travel and other expenses of representatives for The Association, preparation of regular audit statements of The Associations’s accounts as directed by the Constitution.
By-laws Members of the By-laws Committee are responsible for a yearly review of the current By-laws. These individuals identify any required changes and submits changes to the board and membership for approval if needed, to stay current with changes in the profession and non-profit organizational laws.
Public Relations Members of the Public Relations Committe are responsibile for ways ACAP can reflect the professional and beneficial organization that we are. Providing resources, including our Newsletter & Website, to the community that advance and or augments the role or pharmacy.
Awards Members of the Awards Committee are responsible for reviewing nominations received by the members of ACAP and its board of directors for both FPA awards and ACAP awards. These idividuals are also responsible for the selection and review of the selection process of any available ACAP award and submitting any potential awards to the annual state meetings
Resolutions Members of the Resolutions Committee is responsible for writing potential resolutions in the form that is acceptable for the FPA House of Delegates.
 Membership Members of the Membership Committee are responsible for obtaining new members as well as helping with the renewal of current members.
